About the Role & Our Client

On behalf of our client, People First Consult is looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to lead strategic initiatives that accelerate business growth, expand market opportunities, and drive sustainable revenue performance.

Our client is a diversified Ethiopian private business group with operations across international trade, agribusiness, manufacturing, logistics, and industrial development. The Group has established a strong presence in import and export activities, trading a broad portfolio of commodities including coffee, pulses, oilseeds, livestock, vehicles, food products, and textiles, while continuing to expand into manufacturing and emerging industrial ventures.

The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of Group-wide sales and marketing strategies to strengthen brand positioning, identify and capture new market opportunities, enhance customer engagement, build high-performing teams, and deliver sustainable growth across the Group’s diverse business portfolio.


Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Identify new business opportunities through market and competitor analysis.

- Lead, coach, and manage the sales and marketing team.

- Plan and oversee marketing campaigns and promotional activities.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

- Prepare budgets, monitor KPIs, and evaluate sales and marketing performance.


Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and marketing management with a proven track record of achieving business growth.

- Experience in import and export operations is a strong advantage.

- Proficiency in CRM systems, digital marketing, and data analysis.
