Job Description:

On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced sales leader with strong FMCG expertise in an international business, capable of building high-performing teams, driving execution excellence, and successfully navigating competitive and evolving market environments. 

Role Purpose

The Head of Sales will lead and execute the company's sales strategy to accelerate revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen customer relationships.

Major Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives to drive revenue growth.
  • Set and achieve sales targets, KPIs, and performance goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Expand market presence and grow the customer base through new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Oversee sales operations, pipeline management & performance reporting.
  • Collaborate with marketing, production, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and support innovation.
  • Identify and mitigate sales risks while resolving customer issues effectively.
  • Strengthen distributor management through performance monitoring and regular training.
  • Optimize route-to-market and value chain processes to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.


Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive sales and marketing experience across commercial and customer management functions, including at least 5 years in senior leadership.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to build high-performing teams.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker, experienced in navigating complex and volatile market environments.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
